We had a successful morning making our Wobble BOTS. We had a specific criteria that we needed to follow and we needed to work together to create something original that moved.

We are now entering into the busiest time of the year... It is also one of the saddest terms as the Year Sixes begin to prepare to move on to their next adventures. Week 3

This week we have a lot of exciting learning opportunities that will be taking place in Te Kohanga and throughout the school. Motivation for the week - what are you going to do? Focuses this week: Geometric cities Speeches - writing drafts for speech competition Reading - Novel sets Passion Projects STEAM challenge creations Remember, we will be having athletics on Monday and Friday afternoons, so please wear appropriate clothing for running, throwing and jumping. Friday we will be having a whole school assembly starting at 9am.

Bouncy egg experiment

This morning in Te kohanga we did an experiment on how to make a bouncy egg. We are still yet waiting to see how our (bouncy) eggs turn out. They have been in for around an hour and some shells have started to peel off.
