    I'm not sure why my comments don't save, but I will leave one more. I think your reflection is good, I like your honesty with your comments and your team work. Question: Did you use sugar in the mixture? I am also interested to know if it was dry yeast you used and how long you had to leave it to rise? That's interesting about the CO2. Nice work team.

    It was so much fun. In the mixture we put two tablespoons of sugar to make the bread and yes we did use dry yeast for the mixture. We waited 1/2 an hour for the bread to rise and then we baked the bread for 40 minutes. Thanks for commenting.

Old Lady Description Written By Melissa The ladies speckled blue eyes are pleading for help. Long heavy clothes droop down, forcing her to lean to a side. Her face is as shriveled as a dry raisin. Her faded lips look like they have been stuck together with glue. The joy in the children's faces digs hope into her worried eyes. Darkness folds over her as the wind pulls strands of hair out of her scarf. Night, has come and families are making their way into their warm, cozy homes. She folds herself up in her jackets and leans against the building wall. The lady looks away, closes her eyes and goes to sleep.

This week we have a lot of exciting learning opportunities that will be taking place in Te Kohanga and throughout the school. Motivation for the week - what are you going to do? Focuses this week: Geometric cities Speeches - writing drafts for speech competition Reading - Novel sets Passion Projects STEAM challenge creations Remember, we will be having athletics on Monday and Friday afternoons, so please wear appropriate clothing for running, throwing and jumping.
